About
See What God Can Do Through You

Our Mission
To send trained laborers into East Africa who operate in integrity and can make a difference in people's lives. It's not just about what we say, but how we live.
Our Vision
Teach and train men and women of God in East Africa to transform their villages, towns, cities, and nations through the power of God.
See transformation in every student, empowering them to teach, preach, and heal as Jesus did.

Our History
A journey of faith, dedication, and impact—Spirit of Faith Bible Training Ministries continues to transform lives across East Africa.
The Legacy of Faith
Rev. Billy & Mrs. Eltha Banks attended Rhema Bible Training College in the USA and graduated in 2001. With over 40 years of ministry experience, they are proud grandparents to 10 grandchildren.
Spirit of Faith Bible Training Ministries began as a divine directive to establish a Bible school that would transform lives in Kenya and East Africa with the living Word of God.
Since its inception in 2012, the school has graduated 11 classes with a total of 400 graduates from Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Nigeria, and Tanzania—empoweprimary to make a difference in their communities.

What We Believe
Our Statement of Faith reflects the core beliefs that guide our ministry and our lives.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. No other book represents God’s written revelation to mankind.
The Divine Trinity
We believe in the Divine Trinity, that God is One, but is manifested in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – all being co-equal and co-eternal.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is fully God and Man.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Person of the Holy Spirit. He is not a cosmic force, but a Divine Personality.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God.
Born Again
We believe the term “born-again” refers to the New Testament experience of salvation and is the entry point for membership into the universal Church (the body of the Lord Jesus Christ).
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a direct commandment of the Lord Jesus for believers only, symbolizing the Christian’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, received after salvation, and accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Healing
We believe in healing for physical ills through the power of God, the prayer of faith, and the laying on of hands, as provided for in Christ's atonement.
Jesus' Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will return imminently for the Church, and following the Tribulation, He will reign on earth for a thousand years as King of Kings.
Eternal Judgment
We believe that those who die in their sins without accepting Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, with no further opportunity for repentance.
Marriage and Conduct
We believe the church should only sanction or conduct marriage between a man and a woman. Leaders must uphold the highest standards of personal conduct, abstaining from drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and sexual immorality.
